Nuts. I was going to ask to borrow his helmet, too. Maybe if I run real fast after lighting the fuse ....
Having looked through all of her books, she can find nothing that mentions a mousewheel and is perplexed. Methinks there is a mutiny brewing.
The Queen knows a few somethings about naughty...but definitely does not like pain. No, not at all. Puts on her glasses, looking around for the contraption, thinking a mousewheel shouldn't be that hard to find.
Comes walking in carrying a box labeled "Live Mice" under one arm and a can of axle grease under the other. Sees the Queen snooping around, turns and bolts, dropping and spilling the axle grease. Alarmed by the clatter, he makes for the door slipping on the spilled grease. Trying desperately to regain his footing, he drops the box. Mice, wearing miniature crash helmets, scamper across the room. Trying to dodge the mice with greased feet, he comically slips and slides to the open window GA jumped out of earlier. Stopping just short of falling out, he notices the Queen turning in his direction and allows gravity to take its course, .falling out of said window, backwards. From below a slightly muffled, voice can be heard saying.... Oooh.. I forgot I had the candles. :twitch:
The Queen tries hard not to laugh at the comical antics she is seeing take place, and thinks perhaps instead of the long awaited knighthood, Emirkol has earned the title of Court Jester. Walking to the puddle of axle grease, she ponders just why axle grease was required, not to mention the candles, and thinks Emirkol will spend a few days in the dungeon...after he catches each and everyone of the mice and scrubs the floor on his hands and knees. At that, she thinks he is getting off lightly. Perhaps she will pay him a visit in the dungeon, hmmmm? Now that might be interesting, indeed. _O:
So! You got involved after all, my charming and duplicitous friend. A special punishment for you...give me the candles. The fun hasn't even begun to start yet. Candle wax, I hear, is a most amusing way to dally away the time. I'm afraid your helmet will not help you this time.
That would explain those other marks. :twitch: Plan? There was a plan? I have a vague recollection of it having something to do with rocket-propelled mice and the Queen's skirt...
I hope you had a good day and the night went well. At work, this has been hell night. I guess I was bound to have one sooner or later. Everything imaginable has occurred. Alarms going off, things stolen, malicious vandalism. I had to call my boss 3 times tonight. I guess that's why we have staff. To take care of problems. I have not only earned my salary tonight (and the night is still fairly young), I think I deserve a raise. Too cold I guess for any bunnies to be out hopping around and the cranes have delayed their morning flight (I guess) until the sun warms things up a bit more, so I have seen no wild life to speak of. Not even a raccoon in the dumpster. One good thing, I am almost done with terraforming (if it can be called that) my island on 2nd Life, and it is looking beautiful, just the way I wanted it. I am putting in the redwood forest, and then it will be done. Shame that I don't have anyone to share it with. Hope you wake up in the morning! May the Lady smile on you and me too.
it would be nice if the people here in co8 would log into second life to see it. its just 20mbs of download, shouldnt be a problem. what say you guys?
There actually is a bit more to it than that. You have to get and name your avi, etc. I'd have to know what your avi name is and add you to the access list. I am also limited as to how many avis can be on the island at once. However, when I am ready, I'll let everyone know and anyone who wants to come see Sancire (my name for my island), I'll help do it. In the meantime, might post some pics.
I hope you have a good day and the night went well. Another hell night at work. Not much I can say about it except I have already been on the phone to my supervisor twice and the shift is still young. Full moon coming up...glad I'll be off. I think. I hope. On to a different note, Lexi and Alex are either playing hard or skirmishing. Alex is losing more and more of what I believe he thinks is his personal territory and is starting to get a little grouchy. Lexi, meanwhile is sleeping/laying on my bed on the spots where Alex normally sleeps and (horrors) feels free to climb and sleep on the cat gym, a definite no no. She also bites Alex on the leg or the ear frequently when she passes by him. Alex has been ignoring Lexi, perhaps pointedly ignoring her is a better term, but of late has not hesitated to fight back when Lexi does her ninja cat routine (darting in and taking a quick nip then darting out of reach). When I work, I am not available for most of the 24 hour day, so I imagine they will work it out...sooner or later. I hope you wake up in the morning! May the Lady smile on you and me too. G'Night.
