Co8 New Content: Verbobonc

Its not a point on the map, use the verbage "Passage to Verbobonc" in the list on the right hand side. Just click on it to get there.

 

Something must be wrong, because I don't get any "Passage to Verbobonc" in the list.

I guess it could be that I had not found out about the temple factions, even though I read the Earth High Priest's diary. But, in that case, would Brother Smyth tell me about Verbobonc at all?

ok so i go and kill the "lich" and just keep following that story arch? and yeah i've all but rocked the temple to the dirt.

 

if you go talk to the brother before you talk to the town guard guy...does it mess this up? the brother told me about the orcs but the town guard guy won't mention it. or is the brother the only one that needs to?

 

Not the guard, but the town elder, find him via the signpost.

so is all this required to open the verbo stuff?

Haunted castle

OK, I bought the Lords' Castle in Verbobonc. Every time I try to rest, I get attacked by ghosts, but they're easy to turn. Finally got to a point where if I go to the top floor there's "something" walking around and moaning. I doesn't attack, and I can't talk to it, ant there's no name when I mouse over it, it just says "unscathed". If I turn it, my "rest" window turns red. Nothing has shown up in my quest list, and nobody will discuss it with the characters - priests ( I killed the evil ones in the ruins already, but the Pelor priests won't discuss it - nothing in the dialogue boxes), the banker, nobody. What am I supposed to do? Or at least, where do I start?

I already took care of the drow and the white dragon; the only new quests I have on my list are to take out Darlia and destroy the slavers.

 

Ditto, here. Where the **** are they???

Solved my ghost problem, BTW. Pretty creepy. Can I ditch the body parts somewhere after the quest is done?

Love the new content!

However, I am having trouble locating the last two fugitives. I found the rogue in the Inn and had to dispatch him as my party is full. Where/How do I find the last two? If they are NOT in Verbobonc, then PM me that fact. I will enjoy searching for them in all the other zones.

Also, how do I get the Preists in the Pelor Ruins to interact? I have hesitated to just kill them since they dont register as EVIL for my Pally. All the other EVIL folks have been taken out including Lerrick...

So I need to go back to a previous save?


One other note: I was able to take out the slavers fairly easily thanks to Robes of Midnight.

Ghost help!

First thanks to everyone for the new content! TOEE keeps getting better and better!

I just move into my sweet new castle and got the ghost. After a few rests I got the one that roams in a circle but he will not talk to me. None of the servants are chatty either. I ran through the castle and the grounds (night and day) but could not find anything or anyone else to speak with. Any hints would be appreciated!
