What's the rule on XP's for defeating summoned creatures? Do you get full XP? What if they expire before you kill them but you still win the battle?
I don't think you get any either way, its assumed a high CR encounter will use spells if applicable. The summons are just a different form of a fireball spell, it damages you and hinders you just the same.
You dont recieve xp for summoned monsters if that summoning is taken directly from the casters own spell slot ( because its considered part of the casters power). If the caster has hours or days to prepare the Animate dead or Summoning then the GM can award XP for the creatures.
