I hope you had a good day and the night went well. The buzzards were flying all over the neighborhood yesterday. I think it was due to the fire. I hope there wasn't a body in the shed in the woods that was burning. I took my computer into the store where I bought it to be looked at and they checked it all out and said nothing was wrong with it. And that it didn't have a virus or whatever. It is still lagging really badly so I don't know what to think. It has plenty of memory. Election day is over. I voted. Another topsy-turvey election. We'lll see what that accomplishes. To all who sleep tonight on this side of the soon to be dark earth, The Nightly Mission: Sleep now sleep again sleep yet again. Wake up and try staying awake. May the Lady smile on me and you too. G'Night. Almost morning.
I hope you had a good day and the night has gone well. The dark moon comes nigh, on Friday I think (according to my calendar). We had a staff meeting this morning, so I am all screwed up again on my sleep. None the less, it was a good day for napping, since it was overcast and drizzly, I just didn't sleep as long as I should have. I cooked a roast today, beef, and for once I didn't burn it up, boil it to death, or wind up with it half raw, like some of my other culinary endeavors. It's a good thing I am not picky, but then if I was, maybe most of my meals would be cooked properly. And that's about it. To all who sleep tonight on this side of the soon to be dark earth, The Nightly Mission: The night is long when you're awake, so remember that. Wake up and start the day when it's dark. Get used to it. May the Lady smile on me and you too. G'Night!
I hope you had a good day and the night went well. Dark moon tomorrow night. On our road to work, I almost ran over a bunny rabbit. It was blinded by my car headlights and was frozen in the middle of the road. I stopped, of course, until it recovered and hopped off the road into the bushes. Cute little thing. I'm in the process of getting my kitten. It's a pet rescue and the kitten is located at a vet clinic in the spendiest neighborhood in town. I don't know a single person who lives there, and have never even been in that part of town. So I got lost. You really don't want to get lost in a rich neighborhood when you drive a fairly old cheap model car that badly needs to be washed. Nope. Luckily, I found the place before someone called Law Enforcement. I do not yet have the kitten...had to fill out a 2 page application and now I'm waiting to see if I am approved. You don't have to fill out an application to have children, so I am a little irked... I do not have a good feeling about this, either. I love the kitten. She is exactly what I have been looking for: black, long nose, big ears, lively, curious and friendly. But when I walked in, I got one of those "Hmmmm, and why would you be coming in here" looks. I quite obviously do not earn $100,000+ per annum, unlike their other clientele. Even the pets look like there is more money spent on them than I bring home. It is busy at work tonight. To all who sleep tonight on this side of the darkening earth, The Nightly Mission: Yawn yourself to bed and dream sweetly. Do hear the alarm and wake up when you are supposed to. May the Lady smile on me and you too. G'Night.
nah they just wanna sell it or too dazzled with the beurocratics of the work. they do lots of mistakes in pet homes. plus you can always steal her and nobody will care.
I am not the type to try to steal a cat from a veterinarian's office. Or anywhere. I haven't done that since I was a kid and used to 'borrow' my friend's kitten. She would get so mad. I'm assuming you are joking?
I hope you had a good day and the night went well. The night is hopping. Although it makes the time go by fast, sometimes a lot of commotion is...enough already. And it is cold. For Florida. Supposed to get 32 degrees which doesn't seem like a big deal unless you are used to 80 degree weather. That's Fahrenheit, not Celcius. I thought cold weather made drunks go to sleep, tempers calm down and 'emos' unescalate. Wrong. Ah well. Makes for an exciting evening. I guess. To all who sleep tonight on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: Bring something a little fluffy into your bed...that purrs. You will sleep warmer. But leave the bedroom door open or you will not be happy when you wake up in the morning. May the Lady smile on me and you. G'Night.
I hope you had a good day and the night was good also. I had to work a bit later than I normally do, and when I walked out to my car, the sun's rays were burning up the trees. The moss wasn't red like last time, but looked like they were in flames, as did anything else the sun touched. I don't recall seeing that anywhere else. I've been up early at my house and watched the sun rise, and saw no flame effect there. There were no clouds either. It must have something to do with the slant of the sun's rays, but that can't be all there is to it or I'd have seen it elsewhere. I wonder what causes it? What with losing an hour timewise, I think I'll get to see it more often. To all who sleep tonight on this side of the still dark earth, The Nightly Mission: Sleep and restore yourself. Wake up and remember you only have one life to live. May the Lady smile on me and you too. G'Night.
I hope you had a good day and the night goes well. Sleepy.... sleepy... sleepy. Curling up with my cat. To all who sleep tonight on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: Deep in your warm nest, dream.... Wake up and smile. May the Lady smile on me and you too. G'Night.
I hope you had a good day and the night goes well. I have my kitten. She's a little older than I wanted, about 4 months old, and her name is Lexi. I like the name, so I decided to keep it (the name). Someone threw Lexi out of a car window when she was tiny and someone brought her to the vet's. She was bottle fed. Lexi is black with a faint tiny white spot on her chest. She is very friendly. I love her. Lexi is very curious, fine boned, alert, a climber (having been in a largish cage most of her life, and active. She is spending a couple of days in the bathroom so Alex gets used to her smell. To all who will sleep tonight on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: Sleep and dream of strange and wonderful things. Wake up, look around, get grounded. May the Lady smile on me and you too. G'Night!
But?! How could you?! Not tell us?! The most important part?! The eyes?! :twitch: Seriously now. What is the colour of Lexi The Kitten's eyes?
And how is Alex taking to all of this? J's Alex never really forgave her when she brought Lily the kitten home all those years ago. Him not being happy was a massive understatement. :twitch:
I hope you had a good day and the night goes well. Lexi has yellow eyes, perfectly round eyes. Alex probably is not happy. At first I had Lexi in the bathroom, so the 2 of them could smell each other through the door. Then today, I switched their litter boxes so they could get used to that. And because Lexi has never been alone and was mewing pitifully and going absolutely berserk when I came in there to spend time with her, I moved her into my bedroom, litter box and all and now poor Alex is not allowed in, at least not for the night. Lexi likes my pony tail. My ears, neck and back are getting clawed up as she bats at it, purring like mad. You can hardly see the yellow, she is so excited. Probably should have named her Hellion. She is a very active kitten, but I knew that when I got her. But Alex is old for a cat and will likely settle down. We'll see. To all who sleep tonight on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: Trying to sleep with an active kitten on the bed may not be the wisest thing to do.... But you can always sleep in the morning when she does... May the Lady smile on me and you too (and Lexi ) G'Night!
I was right. Lexi cat-naps. And likes to knead. And has discovered the shelves in my bedroom. And other things. Mainly me. So...hardly any sleep.
If I ever get a cat, I'd like it to have blue or green eyes... Always liked how those blue-eyed beige-body-brown-spots cats look... It is said they are evil though... Maybe that's why I never got a cat... Anyway, good luck with your cats' dispute over your ponytail...
