Ive been an on and off lurker for months, and i finally decided to post. Awhile back i saw a moderator with a you tube link to a cartoon from adult swim about a BRUTAL barbarian..i was just thinking about that and i cant remeber who it was. On the game note i managed to meet senshock again..but all his dialogue ended in combat..what did i do wrong?
When you talk to Senchock in Verbobanc, always choose a conversation that shows only talking, no violence or attacking. You should get to where you overlook his work at the Temple and can trade with him.
Thank you General Ghoul, that was it..still makes me giggle . @ cezmail.. i had saved it before hand and every dialogue option always eneded in (unavoidable) combat, not a big deal, just wanted to see what he had.
Hum, That is weird as I have always had a chance to delay violence till I could yell him we just wanted to talk or trade. By chance which version of the game do you have? if not 5.92 then MAY be what is causing the trouble. If not, what was the composition of your party if I may ask?
I even went back to an earlier save point and tried to choose all the least aggresive dialogue options from the first meeting on lvl4 of the temple to the shop in verbobonc, and it all ended with the party saying.. i dont believe your story .. attack.. and no other option. I'm using 5.92 NC and a neutral good party.
ok, Jut checking, but do you have a paladin in the group by chance? That should not prevent you from trading with Senshock, but MIGHT be a factor. Maybe a modder or someone else who has the skill to dig into the dialog trees can let us know what may be happening. Not sure why else your not getting even a chance to talk to Senshock, unless the group needs a certain skill to be at a particular rank that I am unaware of. Senshock sells a nice ranch of wondrous items, such as stat boosters, helm of teleportation, and various ioun stones. Plus more. Nothing unique, but if someone was playing a group without any crafters or who did not want to craft things themselves, he is one of the few merchants that you can stock up on. Plus it is a way to use up some of the gold you accumulate.
